There is a slight chill is in the air. Starbucks is serving pumpkin spice everything. Jack o’lanterns begin to appear on porches and doorsteps. It can only mean one thing:
Fall is here, and we couldn’t be more excited. While we are sad to see the days turn cold and grow shorter, the best thing about fall (besides pumpkin spice lattes of course) are the makeup trends.
In this article we will show you some of our favorite fall makeup looks that have given us a lot of #makeupinspo as we move into the autumn season.
Joonyoul Seung /r/AsianBeatuy.
Korean instagram personality, MUA, and style influencer Joonyoul Seung, created this stunning-but-chilly look. The semi gloss lips paired with rosey cheeks pretty much screams: “COLD WEATHER!!!”
A slight and subtle hint of blush is a must for most looks year round. But when it starts to get chilly out, you can accentuate this roseyness with makeup! To achieve this chilly autumn look, apply a blush that is the same color as your cheeks turn in the cold. It’s that simple!
The stunningly beautiful, charming, and ever so talented Blake Lively (accompanied by hubby Ryan Reynolds, aka D-Piddy) rocked a stunning ruby lip and bronze eyeshadow, color coordinated with her beautiful satin sash at the red carpet premier of Reynolds’ sequel to the hit film Deadpool. This color coordinated look was amazing, and was an excellent nod to the scarlet uniform and black accoutrements of the immortal-vigilante-comic-hero to whom her husband has given life... after life... after life, on the big screen --- on a side note, let this be a lesson to anyone who says girls don’t like comic heroes! We know our stuff! ;)
Red lips have been a staple point in beauty and fashion since before the turn of the 20th century. And the perfect pout is something every girl wants! The key to pulling off the red lips in fall is the shade. You want to choose a deep red with cool undertones. Think candied apple, crimson, and ruby tones as opposed to the brighter orange and coral tones of red lipstick you might wear in the spring and summer.
Model and style influencer Winnie Harlow absolutely slaying with her take on this gold metallic smokey eye look at at the 2018 Harper's Bazaar Icons event. Miss Harlow continues the smart trend of color coordinating her makeup and her attire and looks so stunning in this ensemble.
Earthtone metallic is the name of the game for eye shadow looks this fall season. Shimmering metallic and earth tones are very versatile and pair well with semi-gloss lip looks. Think harvest colors, autumn leaves, and lovely metallic shimmer. Pair this with a full set of voluminous false lashes from your favorite one dollar lash subscription for a look that will turn heads in the best way.
