4 Products that Will Protect Your Skin & Hair This Summer

With the summer sun right around the corner, it’s time to start talking about protecting your skin AND your hair.  The same way sun exposure can encourage wrinkles and land you a gnarly sun burn, the summer sun can also damage your hair too.

Snag these 4 products before the sun starts to take its toll!

1.A Good BB Cream

BB creams are magical.  The BB stands for blemish balm, and it’s here to help even your skin tone and protect it from the sun.  In fact, most are made with SPF already within their formulation.  Before heading out to a day at the beach or in the park, help to smooth and prime your skin with a solid BB cream.

2.Hair Restoration Oil

Like we mentioned before, the sun can do a lot of a damage to your hair.  Especially if you’re already dying it regularly.  Using a product like nvenn’s Replenish can help restore the nutrients and oils your hair needs to stay soft, healthy, and shiny.

After your shower, warm the oil between your fingers and apply to the hair.  Make sure to pay extra attention to the ends!  Always pay more attention to the ends as those are more damaged. Not too much in the roots so that the hair does not look greasy (not that it would because the oil is so light but that's rule of thumb for all hair oils)

3.Moisturizing Face Lotion

The key word here is face.  The skin on your face is much more sensitive than the rest of your body.   A good moisturizing face lotion will make sure that any moisture the sun has stolen from your skin is restoring.

If your skin gets oily during the summer, make sure you consider that when buying a moisturizer for your skin.

4.Melt-Proof Primer

An inevitability of the sun is makeup melt.  To protect your precious contour and minutes spent in front of the mirror, look for a solid makeup primer to hold your makeup in place.   A good primer will save you a lot of heartache at the end of those summer days.
